Youth Training Scheme (YTS)

The SSAA (Vic) have developed the Youth Training Scheme (YTS) to teach Juniors the art of Shooting. With a club-based junior shooting program for youth 12-25 years of age. Our ranges which participate in the YTS include:-

Junior Pathways to Participation - Schools Program

This participation based program runs over a number of weeks in the school Term and includes the introduction of the firearm, the importance of firearm safety, the safe handling of firearms, expert coaching and concludes with a mini competition.

Bendigo Naval Cadet Program

SSAA Bendigo Branch along with the local Naval Cadet unit have put together 5 shooting sessions at the Marong Rifle Range. These sessions are spaced over the year, and will include Rimfire Rifle, Centrefire Rifle, Shotgun and Military Rifle disciplines.
